Marlin Technologies, Inc. located in Menomonee Falls and Horicon Wisconsin, is currently looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to oversee all our current marketing activities as well as new initiatives. Our main objectives are brand awareness along with customer engagement and lead generation to help current and prospective customers through the top and middle of our sales funnel. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing, willing to learn, provide ideas and get projects done. We would like someone who has experience with social media (particularly LinkedIn), can tell a great story, and enjoys interacting with others. You will mostly be "doing" marketing tasks and handling projects.
Job Description:
Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing, main emphasis is on the creation, management, and analysis of product support materials, content generation, email campaigns, social media (to include Linked In) and website content. This individual will be a hands-on creator (capable in the Adobe Suite) of marketing and product support materials. Familiarity with WordPress and experience directing outside marketing agencies is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Implement marketing and promotional campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales/market data to drive lead generation.
2. Manage connections between CRM system and Mailchimp.
3. Manage customer email lists based on defined audiences, plans campaign journeys, and tracks goal objectives to report ROI.
4. Create and manage a content calendar, including emails, newsletters, digital ads, and social media.
5. Use SEO best practices to review and edit website content to maintain discoverability, reinforce keyword searchability, and build up domain authority.
6. Supports sales and leadership team by summarizing and reporting on campaign performance and return on marketing efforts.
7. Research competitive products/services by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, and advertising.
8. Direct IBEX tradeshow exhibition by coordinating exhibition requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules; leading pre/post-show communications.
9. Work with sales team to identify additional contact people at targeted accounts.
10. Maintain current industry understanding by participating in educational opportunities, reading trade publications, and attending informative webinars.

12. Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university; or minimum 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of above referenced software, Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Design/Graphics software; and Database software. May be required to set up audiovisual and/or telecommunications equipment.
